BodyDoubleCosplays

Okay, so I got hit with two cosplayers in a row that I'm just super duper excited to interview. I feel like I've seen Double at cons before (we've been cosplaying about the same length of time.) but I didn't have the pleasure of meeting them until the last minute Bakugou/Shinsou photoshoot for our @STLHeroAcademia group! They had such a great time with their shots, so we had to do ours. I got to meet them in their whole Christmassy get up and we Jojo'd at each other and that is how we became besties. They are super talented and work so so hard on their cosplays and I just squeal every time I see them post on social media. They gush about me too, so we have this beautiful squish (Platonic crush) on each other and it's beautiful. I really want them to cosplay Borderlands with me, so maybe we'll have a photoshoot in the future over that ;D

Now without further ado, what are your social media(s)?

How long have you been cosplaying? 12 years

What got you into Cosplay? Wanting to cosplay as my favorite character, and to do some fun shenanigans with my friends

Favourite Costume? Was it bought or made? Favorite costume tends to change but I think consistently it has to be Handsome Jack from Borderlands 2. I remade it 3 times and each time gets better. Some stuff was bought and some stuff was made.

What are your goals as a cosplayer? My goals are to always become better as a cosplayer but to also make more friends and to always have fun.

Which Cosplayer inspired you to cosplay? Elise archer was one of the first Harley Quinn cosplayers I saw back in the day. Her love of the character and dedication to making it as accurate as possible while having fun really got me into cosplaying and reminds me over what it’s all about.

Dream Cosplay? It may be a bit simple but Marth from smash bros melee has been on my list for a long time and is the next in line dream cosplay for me to make.

Favourite Skill of Cosplay? (Wig work, sewing, armor, etc) Armor making and painting! It’s one of the first things I dedicated my time to and I’m happy with my improvements.
