I am absolutely LIVING for all the beautiful models in these photos. Unfortunately, Chance didn't provide any in the interview, but believe me, they are definitely worth checking out. All the beautiful Black and Asian models. It is unfortunate that in my experience, you don't get to see as many Black cosplayers, and unless you shoot in Japan, you don't really get Asian cosplayers either. I am absolutely for cosplay equality, (as well as all others, obviously) and believe that size, shade, and skill should all be celebrated. So, if you're on instagram, definitely go check out CreatebyChance.

What got you into photography? Writing and storytelling got me into photography actually, learning how to tell stories using different mediums is always a challenge and it's an exciting one!
What's your favorite part of photographing Cosplayers? Trying to blend the background into the cosplay.
Words of advice for budding photographers? Learn about lighting! Lighting can make or break a photoshoot.
Favorite Genre/Fandom you enjoy photographing? I don't have one, but I want one, so if anyone wants to shoot, let me know
Favorite convention to Shoot at/attend, and why? Anime Weekend Atlanta because it was the first major con to open my eyes to Cosplay Photography.
