I love when people decide immediately that they have to cosplay something the moment it comes out. I feel we are kindred spirits. I especially feel this with Defectivealexx because they also want to cosplay as Maya from Borderlands 3 and that's my wifey. Their other cosplays are amazing and I am patiently waiting until Defectivealexx pulls out their Maya. Until then, definitely wait with me and check out their other work.

How long have you been cosplaying?

About four years, though I’m only just starting to commit to the craft and attempt to create a social media presence for myself.

What got you into Cosplay?

Other cosplayers/the community! I also love to create and realized this was the perfect way to really focus on self-improvement and devotion to something that fulfills my life.

Favourite Costume? Was it bought or made?

Maya from Borderlands - it was my first major intricate cosplay, I always make my costumes!

What are your goals as a cosplayer?

To improve. Always to improve. I want to move up in my abilities to create, craft, and model.

Which Cosplayer inspired you to cosplay?

Jessica Nigri, as cheesy as it sounds, is a huge inspiration to me. @kamuicosplay is also one of my cosplay “idols”, I love what she does.

Dream Cosplay?

Widowmaker’s Talon skin from Overwatch. It seems simple, but it’s just out of reach for my skill set at the moment and when I do make it, I want everything to be exactly how I envision.

Favourite Skill of Cosplay? (Wig work, sewing, armor, etc)

My best skill at the moment is taking base items of clothing and altering them, sewing them into something that fits the cosplay I’m working on. In the future, I hope to master armor building and improve my sewing!
