I'm always loving sharing a common interest for my favorite fandoms, and Elizichann has a super adorable Uraraka! I can't wait for you to read up on this gorgeous cosplayer.

What are your social medias?

@Elizichann on instagram, twitter, and twitch

How long have you been cosplaying?

April 2012

What got you into Cosplay?

I discovered cosplay when I wanted to dress up as Temari from Naruto Shippuden for Halloween when I was in 8th grade (2010) but didn't have any clue how to do it until my cousin helped me after she bought me a Saturday-only pass for ASTL 2012.

Favourite Costume? Was it bought or made?

It's a tie between Umaru and Uraraka. I made my Umaru cloak but bought the rest. For Uraraka, I made my pants for the track suit and bought the rest since I went with the jacketless look she had during her fight with Bakugo (mostly because I ran out of time, oops!)

What are your goals as a cosplayer?

I would really like to take another shot at armor and do a heavily styled wig. I attempted armor in 2018 but got too flustered and gave up, so I want to push myself to work on it again without a deadline to take the stress off of getting it finished. As for wigs, I just tend to cosplay characters with basic hair styles, so I wanna venture out and make something crazy, even if it has to be for an OC.

Which Cosplayer inspired you to cosplay?

Twinfools was the first ever cosplayer I discovered when I started this journey. I admire him for all the love, energy and kindness he brings into the community. I also am very inspired by my friends Claire (bookedtiloctober on instagram) and Jenise (kiki_kitsune_ also on insta) because they work so hard on every costume and always bring joy to my life in and out of cosplay.

Dream Cosplay?

I really want to cosplay Neo-Queen Serenity from Sailor Moon one day!

Favourite Skill of Cosplay? (Wig work, sewing, armor, etc)

Hand sewing and wig work for sure. I've always been decent at hand sewing, and I've been getting more comfortable with working on wigs as of late.

What is something you would change about the Cosplay Community if you could?

I want people to stop with the "_______ fandom is toxic" ranting because if it's popular, it's likely got a lot of younger kids that just have too much energy and don't understand they're being a little too much for everyone around them to handle. We were all young, loud, obnoxious teenagers at one time, so stop getting upset when kids 12-15 are just having a good time.
