Special FX make up is always a really interesting portion of cosplay that not a ton of people get to touch on or are too intimidated to try. I, for one, am one of those people. I really want to do really cool, gross, interesting FX make up but have no idea where to start, so for the time being, I will live vicariously through Ephemeral while they do their amazing make up.

What got you into Cosplay?

My first convention, NebrasKon 2015! I really wanted to make something for it!

Favourite Costume? Was it bought or made?

It’s a pretty close tie between Captain Jack Sparrow and Midoriya’s hero costume from my hero academia. I made both from a scratch!

What are your goals as a cosplayer?

To continue to push myself to try new things! Like articulated prop making! I’m also trying to get to master class without a sewing machine! Hand stitching for the win!

Which Cosplayer inspired you to cosplay?

My sister? We sorta started together and continue to help each other improve our cosplay skills

Sweeney Todd, the demon barber of Fleet Street.
