Cosplay is about passion. It's about having fun. If you are too serious about it all the time, it becomes a burden, and no one wants that. While browsing Prismatic's Facebook page, they posted some really awesome memes that have reminded me why I cosplay. I've been feeling a little down about a lot of stuff, but I am very thankful that Prismatic shared those so that I could see them too. How long have you been cosplaying? I've been cosplaying since 2008 and handmaking my cosplays since 2014.
What got you into Cosplay? A group of friends and I were going to our first con so we decided to cosplay a group together and the love kept growing after that.
Favourite Costume? Was it bought or made? My favourite cosplay is probably my Sandplay Luka Megurine from Vocaloid. I hand made it over several months and I was able to learn many new skills from it, and it makes me feel so happy to wear her.
What are your goals as a cosplayer? My goals are to spread awareness of invisible conditions that affect a lot of our fellow congoers, be a supportive friend to those who face discrimination due to their size/ethnicity/orientation/etc., and to just keep growing and gaining new skills as a crafter
Which Cosplayer inspired you to cosplay? No one cosplayer inspired me to start cosplaying but I have several cosplayers I look up to now.
Dream Cosplay? Seth Nightroad from Trinity Blood is a big dream cosplay of mine along with Aqua from Kingdom Hearts in her armor.
Favourite Skill of Cosplay? (Wig work, sewing, armor, etc) Sewing is probably my favorite skill mostly because I am still very novice in things like wig work and armor but I hope to learn to do both eventually.
