I love seeing people get super passionate about photography because you get to see that passion translated into the images they take. Ayanematrix shows that passion by not only taking pictures of skinny White Cosplayers, but also Cosplayers of Color! Nothing makes me happier than showing proper representation. They are stationed in Tennessee, so maybe we'll see them at Momocon? I'd love to meet him in person!

What got you into photography? Worked as an apprentice back in 1999 as part of a summer camp deal with the city of Chattanooga and stayed with it ever since!
What's your favorite part of photographing Cosplayers? Seeing the different takes of characters and finding ways to capture that visually.
Words of advice for budding photographers? Don't be stop taking photos, focus on what you like as a way to keep your motivation when things get tough, and always strive to improve with every shoot you do.
Favorite Genre/Fandom you enjoy photographing? Soul Eater fandom is probably my favorite, but maybe more bad guys in general.
Favorite convention to Shoot at/attend, and why? Dragoncon goes on the list for favorite to shoot for due to so much variety, but AWA or AkaiCon for much more manageable experiences and spaces to shoot in.
