Shoe Storage

If you're like me, you have two or three pairs of normal, everyday shoes, and about 20 pairs of cosplay shoes. Of course, you can't just get rid of them! What if you want to wear them again or re purpose them later for another cosplay. But with all the extra shoes, you have to find ways of storing the boots, flats, shoes, and other footwear in your repertoire.

Boots:

Depending on the height of your boots, you can store them with your costumes in their storage tubs, or you can store them in a closet with pool noodles cut in half or even in thirds inside the boot. This keeps the form of the boot, and allows it to stand straight and allows it to take up less space.

Other footwear:

Smaller boots, heels, flats, sneakers, all of those, can all be conveniently stored in shoe holders, or in the plastic storage you put your cosplays in, as well as in hanging shoe containers. For me, I have one of these and while it holds 18 pairs, I need even more for the rest of my shoes! You can also get the over the door storage for these, or even shoe cubes.

The wonderful thing about shoe storage is that there isn't a lot to worry about it, and therefore, it is super simple to clean up your space a little.
